Well, we survived Christmas and New Years. Today was our first day back to school and the new laptops that each of them got for Christmas turned out to work wonderfully for schooling today. No more taking turns on the desktops and it was nice to have them be able to work from their own seats!
The kids had two weeks off for the holidays and returned today with all their knowledge that they had learned before vacation. They aced a quiz and two tests on information that was taught before the break.
We are looking forward to another awesome day tomorrow. It was nice to hear my youngest prayer at dinner time include thanks for "having school today". It always makes me feel so good to hear them say they appreciate schooling at home.
